Strategy Notes
- Japanese MAA receive +2/+2 armour for free at Feudal Age, making this the strongest MAA civ.
- Weak against: Opponent walling fast or producing Scouts to intercept MAA.
- Strong against: Greedy openings with no early military and slow walling.
Options:
- Full Feudal All-In: Add 2nd Archery Range after first Archers arrive; flood Archer + MAA and deny Castle Age.
- Castle Transition: If attack fails or is contained, wall up and advance to Castle Age for Crossbow follow-up.
- Archer-Heavy Feudal: Drop MAA pressure early if opponent walled; shift to pure Archers and Fletching timing attack.
Defense Tip: If your attack dealt serious damage, wall up and prepare for Castle Age. If it failed, you over-invested resources early β pivot to a standard Castle Age Archer build (Crossbow + Siege). Do not re-engage with damaged MAA.
