Strategy Notes
- A Castle + Unique Unit pressure at ~15:30 is very difficult to answer without a Castle of your own.
- Weak against: Opponent building their own Castle before yours; aggressive Feudal attacks that disrupt the stone economy.
- Strong against: Opponents going for a slow boom; Fast Castle opponents without their own Unique Unit ready.
Options:
- Safe Development: Begin Unique Unit production, then slowly add Town Centers; send 2β3 stone villagers back to mine.
- Aggressive Castle Drop: Keep all stone villagers mining; continuously produce Unique Units; drop a second Castle near the enemy within 2β3 minutes of Castle Age.
- Single TC Pressure: After stone villagers finish the Castle, return to wood/gold/farm balance; apply sustained pressure with Unique Units + Siege from one TC.
Defense Tip: Make sure your Castle is always earning value β if it is not defending or attacking, you are falling behind economically. No matter which path you choose, the Castle must justify its 650 stone cost through combat value or opponent disruption.
