Strategy Notes

  • The Turks Fast Imp is built around gold economy, stone selling, and early artillery power. Turks get free Chemistry, making Bombard Cannons available immediately at Imperial Age.
  • Weak against: Feudal or Castle Age aggression that disrupts the passive economy; civs that can counter mass artillery (Siege Onagers, Trebuchets).
  • Strong against: Defensive boom strategies; opponents who cannot match the Imperial Age timing.

Options:

  1. Janissary + Bombard Cannon: The core composition β€” Janissaries handle infantry and cavalry while Bombard Cannons destroy buildings and siege.
  2. Imperial Camel: If gold permits, mix in Imperial Camel units for anti-cavalry coverage.
  3. Hussar Raid: Use Light Cavalry (or Hussar) to harass and delay opponent military while Bombard Cannons close out the game.

Defense Tip: Increase pressure once in Imperial Age and never let your Bombard Cannons be destroyed β€” losing artillery is usually the end of the game plan. Use the Monastery to heal damaged Janissaries. The Turks’ free gold mining upgrades make sustaining the gold economy much easier than for other civilizations.
