18 Pop Cumans 2 TC Boom
Steps 13 · 6 → 18 pop · ~20 min
Source: Hera
Recommended Civilizations
Drop a second Town Center the moment you hit Feudal so your villager count snowballs ahead of any opponent who is still on one TC.
Step Timeline
Follow the villager rail and resource-split columns while you play.
Opening
7 steps · pop 6–15- 6 60

6 → sheep under the TC - 8 62

+2 → wood; build the first lumber camp - 9 72
+1 → lure and eat the first boar - 9 72
Lure the deer in with your scout to stretch the food ↳ No new villager — keep the TC producing
- 11 92
+2 → hunt; lure the second boar - 12 102

+1 → build a house, then a mill on the berries - 15 132
+3 → hunt
Feudal
5 steps · pop 18- 18 162
+3 → berries, then click up to Feudal (~8:50, 2 wood / 16 food) ↳ On closed maps you can skip Loom and click up early
- 18 108

Feudal: move 6 villagers off hunt → wood on the single lumber camp - 18 108
Build your 2nd Town Center on the wood line (or on gold/stone if you prefer) ↳ The Cuman Feudal 2nd TC is the whole point of this build
- 18 108

Research Double-Bit Axe; add Horse Collar (skip it on open maps if you feel unsafe) - 18 108

Send fresh TC villagers to wood, the straggler trees, and farms; stabilize non-stop 2-TC production first
Castle
1 steps 19:30- 18 108
Once both TCs are stable, add farms and gold, then click up to Castle Age 19:30 ↳ Undisturbed, you land in Castle Age around 19–20 minutes
Strategy Notes
- The defining move is the Feudal second TC — a trick only Cumans can pull off. Get both Town Centers producing villagers without a single idle second, because every gap erases the eco lead you opened the build to chase.
- Resist the urge to add military or extra buildings early. This is a pure boom: keep new villagers flowing onto wood, stragglers, and farms, and stabilize two-TC production before you spend resources on anything else.
- Eco upgrades carry the build. Double-Bit Axe is mandatory; take Horse Collar too whenever the map feels safe, and skip it on open maps only if you are genuinely worried about a raid.
- Your one weakness is the window before the second TC pays off. A Feudal scout or man-at-arms rush can punish exposed villagers, so wall your wood and food lines early on open maps and keep your scout watching the opponent.
- Undisturbed, you reach Castle Age around 19–20 minutes with a villager count nobody on one TC can match. From there you can flood Knights, transition into whatever the matchup demands, or simply keep booming on the back of your eco lead.
