Feudal Galley Rush
Steps 12 · 3 → 25 pop · ~10 min
Recommended Civilizations
Goal: Reach Feudal Age at 21 villagers and pump Fire Galleys from multiple Docks to sink enemy Fishing Ships and control the water. Four Dark-Age Fishing Ships fund the wood-and-gold economy that keeps ships coming. Recommended civs: Vikings (cheaper warships), Portuguese (ships die slower), Italians (cheaper Dock techs + Fishing Ships), Byzantines (Greek Fire in Castle Age), Malay (+66% faster Age advance).
Step Timeline
Follow the villager rail and resource-split columns while you play.

Strategy Notes
- Build 2 Houses; 6 villagers on sheep under the TC
- 4 villagers to wood with a Lumber Camp
- 1 villager lures the nearest boar
- 1 villager builds a Dock + 2 Houses; queue 4 Fishing Ships onto deep fish
- 2 more to wood, then lure the 2nd boar; fill TC food to 20 pop
- Research Loom and click Feudal Age at 21 villagers
- While advancing: 7 to a 2nd Lumber Camp, 4 to gold, 1 builds a 2nd Dock, 2 to stragglers, 1 to wood
- In Feudal, research Double-Bit Axe and pump Fire Galleys from both Docks
- Build a 3rd Dock and keep ships coming
- New TC villagers go to gold/berries/wood to sustain ship production
- Use the ship group to kill enemy Fishing Ships and deny their Dock
- Weak against: Opponents who also double-Dock and match ship count; being out-fished while you over-commit to military.
- Strong against: Land civs forced onto water; opponents who skip a Dock; Fishing-Ship-dependent economies.
