How to Play Magyars

Ideal opening (Dark → Castle): Lean on the -15% cheaper Scout Cavalry and free Forging to launch an early Scout Rush in Feudal, then transition into Light Cavalry or Knights as you reach Castle Age — or pivot to Cavalry Archers if you want more range.

Ideal late-game composition: Pair Heavy Cavalry Archers (boosted by the Recurve Bow unique tech) with your trash-tier Magyar Hussar, and back them with Trebuchets to crack down buildings and defensive structures.

Deathball composition (closed maps / team games): Combine Paladins for the heavy front line with Heavy Cavalry Archers for ranged punch, supported by Trebuchets — a mobile hybrid ball that can reposition quickly while still sieging down enemy fortifications.

Recommended build: Scout Rush
