How to Play Ethiopians

Ideal opening (Dark → Castle): Lean on the archer line from the start with a single-range Feudal opening, then transition into Castle Age Crossbows and quickly Arbalest. Their faster archers and the free age-up resources make pressure cheap to sustain. If you want extra punch, add a stable for a few Knights to ride forward and screen your shots or pick off enemy siege.

Ideal late-game composition: A practical Imperial army is Arbalest for damage, Halberdier as your free trash meatshield against cavalry, and Bombard Cannons supercharged by Torsion Engines to clear buildings and enemy siege.

Deathball composition (closed maps / team games): Center the ball on Torsion Engine Bombard Cannons backed by Halberdiers to protect them, with Arbalest mixed in to add ranged volume as you grind forward.

Recommended build: Ethiopian 2-Range Archers
