How to Play Chinese
Ideal opening (Dark → Castle): Lean on the three extra starting villagers and open with a Scout Rush. The economy lead lets you stay flexible — apply early Feudal pressure, weather whatever your opponent throws back, and then let the head-start in villager numbers snowball you into a strong Castle Age.
Ideal late-game composition: Anchor your army on massed Arbalests or Chu Ko Nu for ranged firepower, screen them with cheap Light Cavalry to chase down skirmishers and raiders, and add Trebuchets to crack down standing buildings and defenses.
Deathball composition (closed maps / team games): Build a slow, grinding ball of Heavy Scorpions and Chu Ko Nu for overlapping volleys, push it forward behind Cavalier as a melee shield, and bring Trebuchets to demolish fortifications as you advance.
Recommended build: Chinese Fast Feudal
